What is dagashi?

Dagashi is the Japanese name for various individually packaged snacks and candies. The category covers much more than candy, from cookies, wafers, and chocolate to gummies, rice crackers, corn snacks, and fizzy sweets.

There is no single “dagashi flavor.” The fun comes from exploring a mix of sweet, salty, crunchy, chewy, and fizzy treats, some familiar and others completely new.

Good to know before your box arrives

The photographs show the current Spring/Summer 2026 selection. We keep the assortment largely consistent throughout the season, but if an item becomes unavailable, a similar snack may occasionally be substituted. Flavors or package designs may also vary.

Each box contains 30 individual Japanese snacks and candies. Dagashi comes in many shapes and sizes—from small candies and chewy treats to larger cookies, wafers, rice crackers, and corn snacks—so the packages will not all be the same size.

Ingredients and allergens differ between products. Use the included English guide to learn about the assortment, and always check the individual package before eating.

Because the selection contains many different products, we cannot guarantee that the complete box will be suitable for a particular allergy or dietary requirement.

Storage directions and best-before dates vary by product. Check each individual package and keep snacks in their original packaging until you are ready to enjoy them
